Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actor and producer. Her fame was based on her role as Grace Van Pelt, a special agent in CBS's cop-drama The Mentalist. Righetti was raised in Utah and always dreamt to be a performer. As a young girl she was able to begin learning how to dance. Love and Happiness, a 1995 film, marked her debut on the big screen. On the small screen, she made her screen debut in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a special guest. Righetti was 14 years old when she began her career. The following year, she relocated to Los Angeles and continued to play small but significant roles before she was cast as the recurring character Hailey Nichol in Foxs teen drama The O.C.. From 2008 to 2015 she played Grace Van Pelt in The Mentalist receiving praise from critics for her performance.
